Principal’s update: August 2016

Dear McLoughlin Families,

It is with excitement that I welcome you to the upcoming school year! As a principal, summertime is always a great time to reflect on what’s important and plan for the coming school year. I believe deeply that education is a moral imperative, and that McLoughlin students deserve the very best. I am dedicated to doing my best to provide an excellent environment for ALL of the students who come to McLoughlin.

I know that as families, you want the best for your students, and I want to assure you that I share that same goal. The McLoughlin staff is dedicated to working tirelessly to create a culture and atmosphere where your students will thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. We will do this by continuing to improve in our three main focus areas:

Culture and Climate – We will work to create a safe, supportive, and caring environment for your students to come to everyday, so that when they’re here, they can focus on learning.

Rigorous Curriculum – We will be dedicated to providing a rigorous curriculum that will prepare your students for high school and beyond.

Instructional Excellence – We will dedicate ourselves to being the best edu-cators we can be, utilizing best practices and current technology to help students succeed.

Along with new students, we will have many new staff here at Mac ready to work with your kids. Angie Gaub is joining my leadership team as an Associate Principal. She has already been working to help plan for the upcoming school year, and she is excited to be a part of the Mac community.

By working together, I believe that we can deliver on our vision of excellence. I look forward to working with all of you this year.

Sincerely,

Travis Boeh
